Group Visits to Penshurst Place

Groups wishing to visit Penshurst Place and Gardens have many itinerary options to choose from, depending on their requirements. We have our traditional group options which include our guided House & Gardens tours, alongside our special group packages, winter tours and joint offers with other attractions. Group leaders are welcome to visit in advance of their group visit. Coach drivers are entitled to free admission.

The Gardens

Whether you are looking for non-guided entrance to the Gardens or would like to try one of our tour options, including a special tour with our Head Gardener, the Gardens at Penshurst Place make a wonderful destination for a leisure or special interest group visit.

The House

Penshurst Place offers a number of specialised private House tours for groups. Take a tour behind the scenes and learn how the State Rooms are cleaned and conserved, or choose to tailor your House tour to a special interest or season. Non-guided entrance to the House also available.

House & Gardens

Take a grand tour of Penshurst Place and experience both the medieval Manor House and Elizabethan Gardens with the option of a non-guided visit or a personal tour guide for the group.

Special Interest Tours

With a multitude of knowledgeable guides, we're able to cater our tours to suit a vast variety of interests for all groups, including the Sidney family, our Tudor and Elizabethan past, how we care for the House, and the antiquiries within.

Winter Group Tours

During the festive period, the medieval Manor House will be dressed with freshly cut mistletoe and foliage gathered from the estate. Take an exclusive tour ‘Behind the Scenes’ with our Head Housekeeper and private tour guide, followed by festive refreshments served around the fire.
